Access to locations

ESA Registry EU is a private registry and is not an assistance-animal organisation. Registration does not guarantee access to any business, accommodation provider, airline, transport operator or other organisation. Entry or service may be refused under the rules that apply in the relevant country or setting.

Responsibility and informed consent

Animal behaviour cannot be guaranteed. Members remain responsible for their animal, including its behaviour, welfare, supervision and any injury, loss, damage, cost or legal claim arising from it.

Registration and documentation

Members must provide accurate information and use registry cards and documents only for the registered person and animal. Registration is voluntary and does not replace medical advice, professional evidence or any training or legal requirement.

Local laws and provider policies

Rules vary across Europe. Members must check current national and local law and the policies of any accommodation, travel or service provider before relying on registry documentation.
